The way she slut shames everyone in season 9- "Yawn...". She doesn't have a funny line in the entire series. Just a judgy bore. I wish it worked out with Tanis.
Agree about Rosie. Hot and boring. Of all the women of Letterkenny, I like Tanis the best, closely followed by Alycat and Biancadonk, who like Jonesy and Reilly, are one character. Ronsy and Daxy, Jesus fuck are they great characters. Their wedding episode is one of my favorites.

Been building a playlist based this website with a catalog of all of the music used in the series. Good playlist! 172 songs, 10 hour, 40 minute playlist, and that's just the songs I liked.

Finally, the episode in which Wayne uses yellow and red cards (a la soccer) for everyday offenses is brilliant.

I knew a dude in the early 2000's that grew up in Alberta and he thought it was really weird that people in America didn't fight for fun and only fought when they were mad at eachother, and stayed mad after a fight. It's cold up there. Makes people weird.

I think a better chance ought to be given the show. While there is fighting, it's not at all like much of the violence out there in TV land. Assuming your post is about violence and not the character.

Also, this is one of my favorite scenes. Figures Roald can break dance, he's great with physical comedy.

Mixed feelings about this show. On one hand, it can be very funny, especially with the nerdy wordplay, and the Skids rule. On the other hand, Wayne is the only necessary main character, the “natives” are often treated as props not people, and I don’t like that the only regular black character just has one repetitive joke which is that she is a hypersexual deviant.

The fighting for fun thing is, or at least was, a part of the hockey culture in small town or even small city Canada. When I played PeeWee/Bantam, we used to have 'glove and helmet' fights after games/practices - basically, putting on your helmet and gloves and scrapping with a teammate in a round-robin tournament kind of thing. I think the majority of parents totally were aware of this but let it slide out of some sense of adolescent-bonding/rites of passage ritual or whatever. I'm sure that kind of thing isn't as tolerated these days, largely owing to the potential for lawsuits.
As for Alberta, the last time I had a Saturday night out in Edmonton (around 8 years ago), I saw three fights on Whyte St. of varying severity. I assume most of these dudes were oil/gas workers from Fort McMurray letting off steam.

I think that mentality might have leaked down into Minnesota; I bare-knuckle boxed for a while, just not a very long while. My record was 0-0-3.
