I love them all, from the more power-chordy early stuff to the more experimental and complex later stuff. Fugazi never made a bad album.
They should reform.

42I too love Foreman's Dog, which is around the time Guy started working with Blonde Redhead and I always thought had some riff similarities to this song:

44Seen them live, heard all the records, and still don't completely jive with Fugazi. But I rank Killtaker, and especially End Hits....the rest not so much, or not at all. Kudos for the ethics and all that business.

46This is would constitute the lazy answer, but I just played 7 Songs and Repeater back to back. Banger after banger.
I'd rather be throwing darts.
Re: Favorite Fugazi record
47Super hard to pick. i really like The Argument and Killtaker. I like all of their records but those are probably my favorites. There are really great moments on every record. Every time I come back to Steady Diet I remember how much I like the bass line in Long Division.
Re: Favorite Fugazi record
48The first EP was so pivotal. It turned everyone’s head. It changed my (and my friends) musical trajectory. Then Margin Walker came out and blew our minds. Then Repeater.
That first one, though. It was so intense and different. It was like a new musical tide washed over my friends and me. There are other reasons to love other albums, but I have to acknowledge the greatness and impact of that first EP.
They first came through town during my junior year of high school. My mom wouldn’t let me go because it was a school night. I ended up dropping out of school, anyway. There were like 30 people at that show.

49Red Medicine and the Argument. Don't want to choose between them.
Red Medicine has the best balance of arty shit and BITE, as well as my fav Fugazi songs. Argument is best straight through, I think.
What a fucking band.
