It's tough and maybe kind of awesome how the hybrids inevitably fracture everything. Like I think of crust as being more punk, yet it's metallic punk. You could probably put a Discharge song, an Amebix song and a COC song on a "metal mix" although all three are supposedly different genres and supposedly not metal. But I'm clearly not on a crusade against "false metal".
