I admire your bravery for coming here and posting about this. You and your friends should be affirmed. You seem like beautiful people.
Draconian laws about trans healthcare should be opposed. I agree. This is a crucial decision made by a young person along with his or her parents and the family's doctors. For politicians to step into the breach is understandable because they are responding to the fears, incomprehension and hatred of an older generation that simply doesn't understand the needs of you and your friends. But, in my layman's opinion as someone who doesn't fully understand the matter, I think it's incredibly important for the voices of you, your friends, your families and your doctors to be taken into account here. Thanks for posting and I will relay my comments to Ohio as well.

It's a straight binary for me - if you are here, I am not. So at least make your fucking mind up.

3How about if I am less conspicuous? Would that convince you to stay? I'd hate for you to leave because of me.A_Man_Who_Tries wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:38 amAre you here or not?InMySoul77 wrote: Mon Jan 08, 2024 8:51 pm I admire your bravery for coming here and posting about this. 4This place, like all communities, is flavoured by the people in it, and it's not as straightforward in some cases as just ignoring an individual.InMySoul77 wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:54 am How about if I am less conspicuous? Would that convince you to stay? I'd hate for you to leave because of me.
Look, I can accept just leaving, because this place with you in it just turns to nonsense. If you got the right help and had the right dosage of the right meds then that wouldn't be the case, but there's more chance of plaiting fog than you doing that.
Please, just let me know and fucking stick with it, because I could be investing energy in finding another community to be a part of instead of being in a holding pattern based upon your whims.
This thread should not be about this. I'm very sorry FM Hex.

5I've realized that I need to make a concerted attempt to use fewer words in all areas of life. It hurts my feelings that you say this place turns to nonsense with me here. But I have to look inwards and realize my part in why someone would say that.A_Man_Who_Tries wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 1:07 amThis place, like all communities, is flavoured by the people in it, and it's not as straightforward in some cases as just ignoring an individual.InMySoul77 wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:54 am How about if I am less conspicuous? I've been way too conspicuous on here. But if I promise that you will see less of ME, I hope to convince you to stay. Surely we can transcend our differences by me agreeing to not be everywhere all at once? I was simply taking up too much space and for that I apologize. I was treating this place as a monologue instead of an opportunity for dialogue.
Re: Trans people in Ohio need your help
6You haven't realised anything, nor will you without concerted effort AND professional help. This is nothing you haven't said multiple times before.
I'm done. If you could do me the courtesy of messaging in the event you actually do leave (or if a mod can let me know when you've been given the boot) then that would be appreciated. Thanks.

7Ignoring our friendly troll from /b/ or 4chan or whatever (not you, FM a man who tries) and moving on... I went ahead and submitted a comment and donated a little. I used the template, but made a couple revisions to reflect my own personal experience as a clinician, and also to add that "My great uncle didn't storm Omaha Beach so that a "trans gestapo" could be enabled by short-sighted legislation under the pretense of public health."

8Thank you for posting this and providing those links and templates, Hex. I'll do what little I can, and wish you well during these continuously shitty attacks.
Re: Trans people in Ohio need your help
9The constant attacks on the rights of trans people is execrable, and is nothing more than bible-slappin' right-wing-culture-war garbage. Fuck Mike DeWine and his ilk. Wishing you all the best and will see what I can do to help.
I'd rather be throwing darts.

10Oh hey, I've been wondering how you've been. I boosted this on Facebook.
