160I haven't heard the new record, although I do not care for its singles. But I also wasn't exactly expecting a modernization of the T&G-era Lizard sound. That seems unrealistic at this point. And very few bands not called Swans can pull off the revival thing gracefully, never mind stunningly.
Anyway, it would have been self-deprecatingly hilarious if the Jesus Lizard had titled this album Suck or Weak or Cash or Dads or something to that effect. Missed opportunity there.
