In the lost Craw vs DK C/NC topic from the old forum, SA did say something to the affect of FOC being a perfect album.Vibracobra wrote: Sat Sep 14, 2024 3:40 am
I think I once read Albini saying that, regarding his work, JL were his favorite band but he hadn't done a better record than FOC.
I might be wrong though.

37I recently learned that Darin Gray lives in Finland and is married to a fairly popular Finnish singer. He's becoming part of the jazz scene here, apparently. He played with a local saxophonist and Chris Corsano here, but I wasn't able to attend.
Now you know.

38They're playing in the Albany NY area soon and I'm gonna try to go and see if Nick remembers me. He used to live around here and I sold him a guitar cab and we started getting friendly and then I said something negative about Hilary Clinton and his wifey at the time freaked out on me and I think they both blocked me.

39FM Peripatric, who plays drums with me in Blacklighter, also plays drums with Nick in Upright Forms. As a result DK are borrowing our space this week to prep for these upcoming shows. They almost took my guitar cab with them but obtained a different one.
That's all I got, just this lame humble brag. I've never heard DK though I had heard of them, and I've gotten to know Nick a bit and he's cool and we have a lot of mutual friends. I will check them out sometime. Their show up here this Thursday is sold out. Hopefully the same in Chicago and St Louis and wherever else they are going this week. I always hope bands are making money.
Not voting until I have heard or seen them.

40They are playing in the city on my 48th birthday, and unfortunately, I have other plans and cannot attend.
This band is as close to 100% NC as probabilities will allow.
