I’ve played dozens of them and pretty much hated them all apart from a JTM45 and an Origin 20 (which I ended up buying)
Right? I mean... Ah...

To me this is like saying "i dont like jazz". There are so many amps that have been made by Marshall and its a full spectrum of different models.
Not really. There should never be any jazz played, period. Jazz is a fucked up excuse to solo more than is "Eric Clapton acceptable".
Bruh.

I dont even know where to start with this. Ill just say that's a wildly ignorant thing to say. Its like saying "I dont like rock" because you think Bon Jovi sucks.

I really don't like jazz. I mean, it can sound ignorant, but I don't listen to it and I have no use for it in my musical space.

I am not downgrading its cultural significance in the musical history and never will, but I don't really have any space for 3 or 4 dudes taking turns in soloing the shit from their musical notebook itched in their brain by a school of notes/scales.

Appreciate the further explanation, and this is for Tony and yourself included, this is still a "confession thread". I would welcome leaving your judgment for the Politics thread.

Right but the fact that you can say this:

in the same post as this:

means you are woefully ignorant of what you're talking about. See my post about Bon Jovi and ponder on that.

I never thought I'd like Marshalls, but my only real reference was an 800, which I really don't like. Having used a bunch of old Traynors and then moving to amp sims, I've discovered that I actually like British amps that are based off of Marshalls, just not that particular model. (I prefer EL34s over 6L6 when modeling power amps, and I tend to prefer British amp-style models). I have owned some Fender amps, and looking back I've found that I've never really liked them.
