I’ve been in this band Weird Weather for the last year. My friend LeeAnn and I had talked about putting something together for ages. She’s got a pretty amazing voice, and I always thought I’d like to work on a project with her. We began working on songs, and the result is kinda Patti Smith-meets-Dead Moon. She plays guitar, I play bass, and our friend Beth plays drums. LeeAnn and I trade off on vocals.

LeeAnn plays in a long-standing experimental band called Jheri Sinefeld’s Atrophied Sac with her wife Lisa Cameron (who plays w/ST37, Mike Watt, Susperians, and many many more), and she played in a great post-punk band back in the 80s called New Jetz. Beth is relatively new to drums and started playing when her kid got interested in playing and there was a set around the house.
