His tactical reload from Heat is shown to soldiers as an example on how to do it right.
He was great. RIP, Val!

1358Jeez, rough week. I was never much for Blondie, but he was a legendary drummer and Elvis Ramone. Also, sad to hear about Al Barile.
I'd rather be throwing darts.

1359Just saw that Tom Berg from Self Evident, also an owner of Falling Knife Brewery in MN, died over the weekend. I think he posted on the OG PRF a few times and Self Evident played a PRF BBQ or two. Plus, countless shows with many of our bands over the last 25 years or so. Oh and he brought some of his beers to a BBQ or two as well.
I always looked forward to seeing Tom whenever they came through town. Larger than life dude and personality. Amazing bass player, super fun to watch.
I am in shock. RIP

1360Wtf, that's really sad. I played a bill with them once (they were close with Bear Claw, who may not have been available that date and recommended us instead) and remember them all being nice. Great bass player indeed, made those parts look effortless. He couldn't have been that old.. goddamn...tbone wrote: Mon Apr 07, 2025 2:31 pm Just saw that Tom Berg from Self Evident, also an owner of Falling Knife Brewery in MN, died over the weekend.
