Maybe the only single in history that had to be extended.
The short version of Outdoor Miner is criminal.

each one is perfect in it's own way. however, Chairs Missing is the best one. has the punk charm of Pink Flag with the moody experience of 154.

i would love to join in on the {insert song here} is the best song, but man, each album has songs that on their own could be considered “the best song”

Rueters, Lowdown, Mannequin, French Film Blurred, Outdoor Miner, Practice Makes Perfect, the 15th, Single KO, Map Ref - how do you even choose?

I appreciate the humor in it. "The song is basically perfect and doesn't need anything else, but whatever give em a fuckin' piano solo I guess".

Might be the most impressive run of three records by any band at any time. I've always said that no matter what happens, no matter HOW BORED I get with music, I can always, always go back to these 3 records and find inspiration. They telegraph the second record with the first song of the first record!

I dunno man, I used to think Chairs Missing was the pinnacle, but only by a whisker over the other 2.....nowadays I can't put one above the other, especially taken within context of the time, the equipment they were using, the time frame they put these out....

No decision.
