Man do I love these mics. Good luck. I actually have an RE16 that I use for vocals that I prefer to many condensers and ribbons. Acoustic, electric, voice, drums, really great. Lots of debate between old timers on the differenced between RE10/11/15/16 in one of the few decent Gearspace threads if you do a search.ChudFusk wrote: Sat Jun 14, 2025 4:11 pm I'm also going to be listing an Electro-Voice RE15 in very good condition. The prices I see these listed at seem insane, but I need money badly so I'm going to be listing it at about $50 less than everything else out there (which all seem to be over $500 for beat-to-shit units) so if you have a hankering for it, DM me and make an offer, otherwise I'm going to see how much I can get for it on Reverb.
I would like to try one of those AKG D19 Abbey Road dynamics but I feel like the RE-series kind of does what they say the D19 does.
