Oh, folks LOVE the originals. I'm a big fan (thanks to Asa in Lungfish) and would definitely give these in a shot if I was looking for a standard-route humbucker for a build.

A bender device that bends a Jaguar/Jazzmaster trem behind the bridge for pedal steel effects. And the trem still seems to work

Don't know when these dropped exactly, but I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about them from my Mastery-using friends. Clearly price is a factor, but normally there are at least Boutique/Alt Gear YouTubers who gamble on things to demo. Not seeing any of that yet. But I'm beyond intrigued by these pickups.

Turns out, YES, people want these. One sold after a day for $200.

Cool-looking compressor pedal/ desktop unit from a company I'm not familiar with. It seems to have everything you could want, including XLR in and out, blend, and sidechaining. And the price is really good considering the features and marketplace.

Somebody should get one and report back. The overall look on a bunch of their stuff screams AI to me but if it works it works.

It's weird that they threw phantom power on there and didn't even talk about it on their product page. Ostensibly they're thinking someone just might plug their condenser mic into this thing and call it a preamp?

Some acoustic guitar preamps run off phantom power - it's a niche case

It seems to compress which is about all I ever ask of a compressor pedal. I think people have been tricked into thinking compressors are a secret weapon for tone by voodoo marketing. This one looks pretty cool as far as it goes.

My guess is it is mostly almost the same as the MXR Bass (Studio) compressor, which can also accept a balanced line input and has most of the same controls... 48 vdc is a weird extra function though.
