This is a weird one. My wife watches it, so by proxy I'm also watching it now and then. Saw most of the first season and the first two episodes of the second.

The constituent parts of something really great seem to be there....but it just never lands the plane. Burn victim dude is like a poorly drawn Stephen King character, and he was kinda the hook for the show.

Nothing seems to add up for me.

Will likely keep watching because it'll be on tv.

Second season is much more explicitly referential of a specific game (Fallout: New Vegas).

It's just OK. I don't detect much if any of the pre-Bethesda games in the tone of the show, which is a real shame.

The three leads (MacLachlan, Purnell, Goggins) are good but that's not too surprising.
