On paper I should really like Trans Am but its always really boring to me. I've seen them live twice and it was intensely boring both times.

Not for me

Love Trans Am. Been listening to them since their first album came out. Surender To The Night, Futureworld, and Redline are a hell of a threepeat of great albums. Liberation is probably my favorite, it's a primal scream of a protest album against the Bush jr administration. Have all of their albums although as others have said not all are home runs. Great band to see live and I am glad they lasted so long. I do like TA, I think it's pretty good but it's dwarfed by the records right before and after it.

What Day Is Tonight is an absolute shredder of a live album.

I don’t always smell what they’re cookin’, but how they do cook. Definitely in my top 20 live bands I’ve ever seen.
