The 'OhMyRockness' emails are pretty comprehensive if you live in a city they service (though 95%. of the listings are dumb bullshit that I'm not interested in).
Would be neat if someone could build an aggregator that constantly scoured your instagram account for new posts from ONLY the accounts you have specifically chosen, and maybe send screenshots to an external thing so you don't even have to have the actual instagram app installed on your phone.

After trying other methods of self-promotion I think my next campaign will be to fake my own public death and then when everyone comes out of the woodwork with "I knew him" "We were so close" "I would have done anything for him" etc they will think they're going to my wake but it's really just my next gig. I think I can pull this off about once every few months for a while, which is the max amount of gigging I really feel like doing anyway
