Perry Farrell is a pedo, with his own cousin to boot. He got her hooked on heroin, then she od'd. She's the other woman on the cover of Ritual De Lo Habitual. Gross stuff and that's not even getting into his "music".ChudFusk wrote: Sat Aug 23, 2025 9:01 pmJesus dude, having one side piece after 30 plus years of being a rock star is hardly vehicular homicide. People are way too up their own asses about all that.andyman wrote: Sat Aug 23, 2025 7:39 amThis is funny and perhaps apt.losthighway wrote: Fri Aug 22, 2025 8:36 pm I just keep thinking, somewhere out there John Wurster and Matt Cameron have free time. Someone needs to start a really good, biggish rock band there are god-tier drummers just hanging around.
I also keep thinking that Dave Grohl is clearly going through something. I keep picturing him rehearsing or playing some big ass stadium show with Josh Freese just nailing it and sitting around with some veteran Foos smoking a cigarette and saying, "No, no. It's still not right. We're still not getting it. I really still think it might be the drummer." And the guys are nervously eyeing each other afraid to speak all like, "I don't know man he was pretty amazing tonight. But if you don't think this is working....."
I think he's trying to recapture something he's missing and keeps looking on the drum stool when it's really somewhere else.
This has been my personal armchair psychoanalysis of Mr. David Grohl.
I think his womanising has done irreversible damage to the brand; FF were a mid band that built its rep then coasted on Grohl's reputation as "really nice", fun, and drummer of Nirvana. He's no longer nice, so the music has to do the heavy lifting...
It'd be like if someone in RHCP killed someone with their car.
Also, Anthony Keidis is basically a pedophile and that hasn't hurt his band at all as far as I can tell.
Re: Will Foo Fighters go on, and if so, how?
92What does Jane's Addiction have to with anything though?

93That was Motley Crue and Vince Neil literally got away with it.andyman wrote: Sat Aug 23, 2025 7:39 amThis is funny and perhaps apt.losthighway wrote: Fri Aug 22, 2025 8:36 pm I just keep thinking, somewhere out there John Wurster and Matt Cameron have free time. 94Yeah. Dave having a reasonably normal affair is hardly even in the same category.
Personally I’m much more offended by Learn to Fly than Dave banging a groupie.
We love you FM DaveGrohl
