Behringer has a spring reverb with this preamp and is around $300.

Software tip. Haven't installed yet myself, but will be very helpful with stuff I'm working on now.

I already use AudioFinder to browse through the WAV files of my pretty vast sound/recording archive when composing/assembling/aggregating, and will continue to do so, but the apparent ability to browse and preview Logic sessions without opening them would be huge for me if it works as advertised. I do a lot of rough assemblage of material and sketching in Logic that gets bounced and further aggregated with other puzzle pieces and currently have like 40 of these sessions for one of the records I'm working on etc., some of which can turn out to be more appropriate for other recording projects in the end. So, the ability to preview and evaluate them quickly and figure out where to go next or what to focus on without opening sessions and getting lost in fucking around with them would be very helpful.

EDIT: Ok, it appears you have to upload a bounce of your session to create the preview, so there is no way it is just creating or extracting that on its own at will, which would be crazy and not to be expected of course. Still, not bad for organising a large number of sessions and tracking how they evolve over time through notes and tags. Definitely fills a completely different niche than AudioFinder and could complement it nicely.

It's also free if you don't care about syncing a bunch of stuff and listening in your car etc. The desktop functionality is all I need here.

Yeah I looked at it and decided it did nothing (that I need) that I couldn't do from Finder/Explorer. I already am pretty used to putting notes, and a render in the directory folder of my project and i can just look at it there. Not that it isn't useful for other people but it just seems like an extra stop along the way for me. I really wish someone made an app that let me treat the inside of a folder like a Sticky note. Like, open the folder, notes are right there on the folder background. Draw dicks and stuff. Basically I want every folder to open like it's own little desktop and have MS Paint built in... for the dicks.
