Well, if you put on a five-star movie . . . you're gonna see a five-star movie.

Have not seen this motion picture, but from what I've read, if you did but didn't care for it, you should watch The Hero by Satyajit Ray.

Of all of the movies I've seen, The Hero has one of the best screenplays that was written by the same person who directed the movie. The directing is tops as well.

Well, dare I suggest Baumbach ripped that one off? Just read about it, have not yet seen it.

Crudup and Alba Rohrwacher, who played the film festival representative, were the best things about that movie, although ever since Sasquatch Sunset I'll have time for anything Riley Keough is in, too.

Definitely has a different vibe from the the first two, and it's the first one I've thought I really needed to watch again to really get. Don't want to post too much more since it just went streaming yesterday.
I watched it yesterday. I liked it maybe equal to the others. There was a little more darkness to it. Brolin was fantastic. I find myself often rooting for what the correct kind of Christianity is, which is funny for a non-believer.

Reflection in a Dead Diamond

Throwback to 60's-70's eurospy action movies a genre I'm not remotely familiar with but enjoyed all the same mostly due to some adventurous and surrealist filmmaking. Total eye-candy. The directors also made The Strange Colour of Your Body's Tears, another strong recommendation.
