In the same spirit as Comic Sans, Chiller and Jokerman are both awful.

I was a big fan of Bank Gothic for a while, used it on a lot of my gear designs.

I work in architecture. If I really want someone to read a note put up anywhere in the studio I always use Comic Sans. It elicits such a visceral reaction that notes always gets read.

Bauhaus 93 is pretty cool. Not super practical, but cool.

Papyrus always and forever is the answer on both questions!

Ooh yeah, for like a logo or a big heading looks great.

My font for the body of my last two novels has been
Valkyrie, and I suspect I'll be using it for the forthcoming ones.

Garamond and Caslon Pro make me feel like a writerly writer-type writer.

Hiragino Kaku Gothic Std is like SSBF with a lil bit of serif, also great
MingLiu is essentially a classic Chinese-menu font, used it a lot for Bottomless Pit stuff
PTF Nordic Round, lovely blend of curvy, straightforward, and bold
