That followed Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen telling Danish broadcaster TV2 on Monday that an American attack on Greenland would end NATO, an alliance formed in 1949 in the wake of World War II.
“If the U.S. chooses to attack another NATO country militarily, everything stops,” she said.
Yeah right.
I was keep coming back to the question why Trump wants to do this 'the hard way' and possibly dismantling NATO in the process (at least as we know it) even though USA did pretty much whatever they wanted in Greenland historically and I thought that maybe it's the other way around - Greenland is a way to get USA out of NATO and create tensions and conflict in Europe which is the main goal here - the National Security Agency openly said European Union is pretty much the enemy.
