A judge will rule tomorrow on whether the state of Minn can kick ice out, but the thing is this - if the judge says yes, kick them out, they're not just gonna pack up. If the judge says let 'em stay, well. I dunno then. I imagine more or worse of this.

Either way, the goal was to force Minnie's hand, and the outcome doesn't really matter I don't think. It's bad no matter what.

My recollection is that when the deployment of the National Guard was challenged in Illinois, the Guard members basically hung out and did nothing. They weren’t deployed, but they weren’t sent home either. It was just a waste of everyone’s time and money.

I could be misremembering, and ICE might not—probably wouldn’t be—as compliant.
