Yup. Also nose hair, and what seems to me to be a rapid growth of hair and nails. And though I try to keep abreast of new rock music I keep reaching back into the past to uncover all types of music that I haven't heard.

Used to be a night owl but am super content with staying at home. Like, I can still kick it but I need a kick to put on clothes to go out and kick it.

Deteriorating eyesight and hearing.

Can't keep off weight as good as I used to without putting effort into it.

Mysterious bruises appearing, or discoloration in odd places.

Besides the feet pain.

I am a morning person now. Just pop up at 6-630am everyday no matter what. Walking the dog in the quiet morning is excellent. This is a total betrayal to night owl Owen (RIP 1980s-2015).

Slippers and/or house shoes. My feet are cold, I wear slippers in the house all the time. I love it.

Can't eat fun all the time without paying the price. In fact, I have to have a high fiber diet to stay regular. I put fiber powder in my water in the morning and dinner to make sure things stay good. I also eat Raisin Bran almost every morning.

I have opinions on tea.

I often go to bed at 9pm, not to sleep exactly but go lay in bed and read for an hour. (sometimes I actually just go to sleep at 9pm)

I have a dedicated ear and noise hair trimmer and tweezers for plucking.

I monitor my water intake everyday.

I can (and have) thrown my backout by sneezing...and I try to stretch and shit.

I do enjoy walking a lot (see feet pain), and walk about 5 miles every minimum, minus weekends.

I go to the doctor on the reg and take it seriously.

I find the capsules super effective and gobble six all at once. FM Trey got me on that train.

The “diseases of aging” kicking in… completely not getting current young culture, especially stuff like TikTok and Snapchat, frequently retreating into my 1990s go tos, thinking modern popular bands are mostly shit, questioning whether wearing stuff like band shirts, ball caps and vans is appropriate at 50… avoiding any innocent flirting with women under 40.

Generally I’m finding my feet of being an old dude. People I know, musos, actors, writers that seemed immortal are now dying, often.

Everything changes.

Bad back. Hurts to bend down, sometimes hard to get back up.

If we play a show where the stage is more than a foot high and no steps, I find myself looking for something to grasp to pull myself up, instead of just hopping up there. (this ties in with the back issues. )

Prostate cancer! (5 years clear now)

Hard-on? Not hardly!

Skin drying out in odd places. Behind my ears, what the hell. A little Aveno lotion takes care of that.

People my age (mostly dudes) dying all the time. Fuck that.
