One other thing...
The guitar break into the ending of "Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right(But They Make Me Feel A Whole Lot Better)"?
That is another one that never gets old.

32I popped in Still Cyco for the first time in forever. Some crap on there, but George brings it.
I'd rather be throwing darts.
Re: Band: Suicidal Tendencies

Re: Band: Suicidal Tendencies
34I think if you only heard the songs that they made videos for in the 80s and early 90s, they would be the greatest band of all time.
Mike Muir is hilarious.

35You Can't Bring Me Down, Disco's Out..., and Asleep at the Wheel are NC, everything else I've heard is C or borderline. Are three songs enough to make a band NC? I think so, probably, maybe.
Re: Band: Suicidal Tendencies
36I hated them and their fans when they first arrived. "I'm so misunderstood (whine). Now lets go beat some ass bro".

37I think you just described every nu metal band that ever existed.handsbloodyhands wrote: Fri Jan 23, 2026 10:05 am "I'm so misunderstood (whine). Now lets go beat some ass bro".
Anyway, I agree with you.

39I'm a fan of everything (to various extents) up to-and including-Lights, camera... As for them being "childish" and "dumb", well, I still like those early Crue and Twisted Sisters albums and still like vintage Marvel superhero comics and I'm in my 50's;i doesn't prevent me from loving Cecil Taylor or whatever... there's no conflict there, whatever conflict there is exists in the listeners head and since it's frequently based on outside issues ("wrong" type of fans in particular), I see no reason myself to even make a distinction since my relationship with the music is personal (admittedly perhaps easier in sweden than in the US; in sweden, Suicidal was just as "underground" as any act licensed through Blast First; possibly more since the BF acts were appreciated by critics and hipster douchebags while ST were "ours")

40If you read Disco's Out... Murder's In!: The True Story of Frank the Shank and L.A.'s Deadliest Punk Rock Gang (https://feralhouse.com/discos-out-murders-in/), there is a lot of shit talked about ST and their fans.jfv wrote: Fri Jan 23, 2026 4:10 pmI think you just described every nu metal band that ever existed.handsbloodyhands wrote: Fri Jan 23, 2026 10:05 am "I'm so misunderstood (whine).
