i watched the SNL thing b/c why not
i didn't exactly "like" it but the bomb in my car song was pretty ok, the way they did it there
the other one i couldn't get thru

not for me but the fact that they exist, i mean, yeah, go for it you all

i don't like rufus wainwright or 50% of jeff buckley or 80% of radiohead or most nick cave or the worst half of the smiths, but it fills a need seems like
this is like all that stuff
except it's a little worse, and it's louche aspiring NYers who may or may not care about what they're doing at all, i guess

This is perhaps the best, funniest synopsis I've heard yet of this music.

I only know Geese from barely paying attention to the SNL performances. The first song sounded like every indie band ever, once "indie" started to mean quirkier stuff as opposed to grittier stuff. The second song was more interesting, but I struggle to remember anything about it, aside from it being much more rocking.

Beats most of the live performances on SNL, but that's just a stupidly low bar.

Tempted to crap on this, but I need to hear way more and can't really be bothered. Life's too short.

Radiohead cover band playing Radiohead songs that didn't make it to be on In Rainbows.

Although, kudos to the bass player for going through a Quilter.

There are SIX of them in that Kimmel video, thus once again proving my theory: the more band members, the shittier the music.

edit: HEY, GREAT MINDS ALIKE!
Nothing major here. Just a regular EU cock. I pull it out and there is beans all over my penis. Bean shells all over my penis...

Those SNL videos are fine, I suppose. If I saw them in a bar I would listen for a bit. I understand maybe why some young people who haven't gone deep on music would hear that song "Trinidad" and connect with it.

But there's like an endless supply of awesome guitar rock out there and I would not seek this out.

Watching that first performance, I smiled at the idea of a person turning this on, not knowing anything about the band, and going, "what is this shit?" Props to SNL at least for booking these guys.

They should book Still House Plants next.
"Whatever happened to that album?"
"I broke it, remember? I threw it against the wall and it like, shattered."
