Thanks for mentioning The Housemartins! I feel that they were one of the ultimate college rock spins of '86-'87. Those years were fun, and my favorite college rock was featured on WRAS 85.5 in Atlanta.

One magical Saturday afternoon in '87, they did a Housemartins retrospective that lasted two hours. I taped the entire thing and listened to it for years. I remember having to scramble for a blank tape, but I luckily found a TDK party cassette that had something on it I didn't mind erasing.
