I'm confused at how this works: a spammer posts this Crap/Not Crap, their account gets deleted, and defendyachtrock (who is clearly not that spammer) is credited as the creator of that topic?

Is this some sort of bulletin board software glitch? Where if the account of a thread's creator gets deleted, the first person to respond ends up being that thread's creator by default?

Yeah, that’s how it works.. for better or worse.

If you ever ask to have your account deleted, this will also happen. All of your posts are deleted.. (except when others are quoting you)
