Found another At4060 I’m going to roll the dice on. People have these listed for crazy prices. I have one that was refurbi$hed by audio technica in the last couple years so I can tell pretty quickly if one is off, and I’ve had to return two because of 60-cycle hum.
One came busted from a Music Go Round fairly recently. I had to return it because of a bad hum and then noticed the damn store listed it again almost immediately upon receipt. Bullshit.
Re: What are you buying, What's on its way?
1822Bought one of them Shure MV88s because my band practice iphone recordings sound so shockingly good, I want to see how good they can get
And a KSM141 because I suppose I should have one at least for acoustic guitar purposes

1824Yeah your post had me convinced, and I remembered someone else posted something with the MV88 (FM tallchris). Had some other things to grab from Shure so we'll see how this do.Dr Tony Balls wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 10:48 amI have the Zoom version of this sort of thing and its fucking awesome.TylerDeadPine wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 10:15 am Bought one of them Shure MV88s because my band practice iphone recordings sound so shockingly good, I want to see how good they can get

Re: What are you buying, What's on its way?
1828Y'all this thing is a fucking blast. It took a tiny bit of adjustment, like a couple of saddle screws, then lower the action and it was ready to go and sounds good all the way up the neck, in tune, etc. It plays with all kinds of pedals, the pickups sound great....there's nothing to change on this thing. I wish all guitars just had on off switches for their pickups.Dr Tony Balls wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 12:57 pm
Yeah they're blowing those out right now, and the rumor mill says its to make way for the Vintera III line coming soon. I bought one of these Bass VIs, used, like 6 months ago for $1K. They're amazing and I found to be head and shoulders better than the Squier Bass VI I had. Makes me wanna pick up a Vintera II while I can but i've been overspending lately.

1829Advanced Audio C12 clone, cropped up on marketplace for less than half of retail, figured it was worth a flyer. Picking it up whenever this snowstorm eases up I guess.
Looking at the price of kits or converting an Apex this seems like a no brainer.
