Looking forward to checking these out. Burning in Water is one of my favourite albums of all time.
yes, me too. They are both good. I am a huge Kenny Chambers fan.

one little complaint: how can they show a telecaster with stock pickups on the cover of a record called "humbucker"? especially when Kenny generally played a strat-necked tele with a humbucker at the bridge. bugs me more than it should.

I follow Kenny on Instagram. Would you like me to ask?

You may do what you like. I think I prefer to leave it as one of the great mysteries of Boston rock, along with

why did jimmy dufour go for a hike in the mountains in the winter in sneakers?, and
what happened to the guitars on the DYS record?, and
how come the Proletariat were not huge? and
Billy Ruane.

Yeah, not to sidetrack the thread but this is great. There's also something about the "no bass player? I'll just teach myself to play synth with my foot" approach that I both relate to and admire.
Just discovered this album and this band thanks to this thread and HOLY SHIT. My face is being slain as I sit here. The unexpectedly bold melodies coexisting equally with the abrasion is a really distinctive brew. Some incredible lyrics ('Bless Your Money', fuck yes!). Surprised I missed this, esp. with Kurt Ballou and Bob Weston involved, but then I'm pretty out of touch these last few years. File under "What records did you buy because the PRF is no longer down?"

Glad folks are discovering this.

Use to be, I hung around at my friend’s record store to discover new music. Nowadays I just stumble across things on YouTube. Which is how I found Djunah. Donna (singer/guitarist/pedalist) was featured on a Rig Rundown episode. Intrigued by her sympatico equipment choices (Traynor and Sunn Beta Lead amps) I listened to one of their songs and was sold.
