He's great in Lebowski and for the aforementioned crummy Polly movie, the moment he enters the film and slips and falls is incredible comedic timing.

I sharted...

He's a great actor, no doubt, but Happiness sucked shit. The first bits were promising, but it soon became a childish, faux-"cynical" rant made by a misanthropic douchebag. Every single character in that movie rings hollow after a while.

Great fucking movie. Just brilliant. PSH is a huffer softtech who comes out of a huff induced fog after his wife kills herself. He's got just a few brain cells to rub together, and sometimes they fire off - he remembers that his life is so insanely fucked that he doesn't even really care that his wife is dead. He's lost his humanity. I was crying at the end both times I saw it. Then again, I cry at movies more then I'd like to admit. Anyway, great movie, great actor.

PSH has the lead in the new Charlie Kaufman film. I am really looking forward to seeing this film.

I have heard... that the man is a total nightmare in the hygiene department. My wife knows people who act in New York and move in circles somewhat beneath but tangential to his, and the word is he stinks really bad all the time, is always unkempt and dirty and lacks social graces of any kind.

...none of which takes away from his acting.
