How long does everyone have to sit and pretend that radical Muslims aren't out of their fucking minds?
I mean going apeshit over some stupid cartoons was bad enough, now they are fixated on what people are naming their toy bears.

Come on, seriously.

with one small edit, i completely agree with pouch-man.

The fact the moderate muslims (if they exist) do nothing at all to discourage such insanity from their radical counterparts, that's what bugs me about their whole thing.

In any case, my point was going to be that Chritianity is not entirely based on 'supernatural' concepts. thats all.

Uh, no.
I don't give a shit whether or not some dude named Jesus lived thousands of years ago. It has nothing to do with anything in the year 2007. To think it does is insane.
Christianity=the belief that Jesus was the son of god and died for people's sins, no? Sounds pretty supernatural.

Maybe for you it has no importance but we have a fucking born-again christian in the white house who think god tells him to go to war. I'd say that is pretty relevant to the present.
Hey man, you don't have buy all the ressurection, holy spirit shit. I don't. But the dude Jesus was a real dude, not some supernatural being. This is just historical fact. And its a simple fact that there are values based in Christianity that are not only pervasive to this day, but, some would argue, quite useful/effacacious in society.
I'm not preaching, that's just how it is.

No, in my fucking house, in my kitchen...what the fuck is wrong with you?
For a moderate muslim leader to emerge and condemn the fanatics strongly and fiercely and build a large moderate following would be fantastic...it would move their religion into current reality and out of the fucking stone age....and that would take the media, huh?

I have seen and heard shitloads of moderate Christians and even fundamentalist Christians speak out sharply against those people. Pretty much everyone does, I've never heard anyone defend them ever not once.

Aside from Liberation movements and a few public figures like Wedgy Benn, leftwing and moderate Christians tend to be almost indetectable in the work-a-day world. But they account for a very large slice of Christianity itself.

Just because part of their world view is crazy, and because they don't crop up with placards on the 9 O'Clock News, doesn't mean we should assume that they don't exist or that we should assume that they are as bad as Phelps and Ratzinger.
