Cool soundhole P-90!

All of my guitars play better since I started watching Ted's videos & grasping the relationship between the bridge, nut, frets, truss rod, string gauge, neck angle, etc..

And since this is the "signature gear" thread, I'll confess that I thought that a black Ibanez Iceman was the coolest possible guitar when I was 12. I don't know if it's better or worse that I wasn't (and continue to not be) a KISS fan. Since I've never played an Iceman outside of a Sam Ash, I can't really opine on whether or not they're good.

Ha that was your guitar I saw last night.

Too bad about that Hagstrom. That was a rad lookin' guitar.

I've got bad news for you...Iceman/Icemans/Icemen? totally kick ass. Not only a Paul Stanley/Steve Miller guitar, also Bruce Anderson!

For more "cool signature gear" - I recently got a good deal on a Tama Peter Erskine signature snare (the 4.5x14 one, not the popcorn guy.) This drum sounds great! Build is fantastic as well. Nice to have a contemporary MIJ Tama wood snare that's less than half the cost of one of the Tama Star wood models.

I should give the disclaimer that the Hagstrom is not mine. It looks bad ass though.

I choose to associate the Iceman with Tom Warrior, and would give a nut to own one of these Giger signature models..

I don't know much about Chisato Moritaka, but her signature Bill Lawrence models are basically everything I'd want to change about a ric 610/620 without the stuff I dislike about the 650.

There are two of the bolt-on versions available locally at the moment (weirdly!), but knowing that there's a "nicer" set-neck version out there is keeping my impulse to buy them both in check.

I like everything about that guitar except the comically wide bridge. It might throw back to other rick styles, but it seems a little out of place.

I'm sure I'd get over that quick tho.
