I think a discussion of abrogation is thoroughly pointless. This is a perfectly natural development and consequence of a nihilist philosophy. Bad ideas will eventually lead to death.

The BBC radio did some random interviews with some young muslims on the street in Birmingham. Most gave slightly radical views about how it was wrong and that she should be punished then did about turns in what they were saying.

One even gave views on the strength of what they were told there and then. She had no idea about the story.

This goes with what was mentioned earlier about the BBC 'sensationalizing' this story. Curse me for listening to Radio Five, but their morning phone-ins have given hour after after to this. That basically meant that every twenty minutes you'd hear from someone who "has nothing against Muslims" but who can't understand why we don't "just send the SAS in and get her out of there?"
