hi everyone.
this is my first post on the board. i've read it a bit before and figured it is a good place to ask geeky questions. i work as an engineer all over MA and sometimes in VT. i also just started doing some live sound, which i'm not a huge fan of.

here's my first question to ya'll:
the vintage 30s in my mesa cab are kind of on the outs. they are starting to distort at very low volumes. i'm bummed. it's my fault. i kind of mistreated the cab lately.

i am aquiring a pair of Cetec Gauss 4281 12" speakers and am wondering if anyone has an opinion on these. i havnt seen them yet but evidently they're monsters. very heavy. i've also heard that they're near indestructable.

anyone else know anything else about these transducers?
