I'm looking to buy a Gibson SG Classic (the type with P90 pickups). By some strange coincidence, is anyone of this here forum got one for sale?
I may even part ex my Travis Bean Standard (i.e Your Gibson + a largish wad of cash for my Bean) for one...
Let me know folks!

2I'm selling an ebony SG Standard. I'd be willing to sell it without pickups if hummer-sized P-90s are close enough for you.
It's got a full TonePros set (bridge and tail) and locking Grovers.

3SG Classics are really holding their value. I've seen them go for 800+ and you can buy a new one for around 1K, or "1 stack", in jail talk.

4I let mine go for $650 a couple of years ago. Mine felt kind of cheap, though.

6A broken headstock is a "Gibson trademark"?
I've owned 6 SGs and never had the headstock break off or crack. What do these people do to their guitars?

Your lucky. They are prone to breaking, I've seen a les paul go before, not pretty. Also heard about a guy that put his sg into the front of the car without a case, left the headstock on the drivers seat, then got in and sat on it

10Sounds like many cases of carelessness and stupidity. People like that don't deserve to have an SG. I've also had a few Les Pauls, a Firebird, an ES-225 and a Melody Maker.
