Song: Never My Love

This is another song I'd had to hear on oldies radio that I'd always liked.

Vibrato guitar, dreamy harmonies, cool bassline...

Lite-Psych at it's best I 'spose.

Then again, The Association always had a few songs I liked anyhoo so...
You call me a hater like that's a bad thing

I'm familiar with some Association stuff but i didn't recognize this by title. Listened to it on youtube and while i like it, it's not ringing a bell. According to wiki/BMI this song is "...listed as the song with the second most US airplay in the 20th century" ! I figure this song would be at lest somewhat familiar, but its not. Weird. One of those things...

Anyway, this seems like a good place to plug the group The Millennium, who was led by a contributing songwriter and producer for the Association, Curt Boettcher. If you like your sunny psych-pop, the Millennium is a must. (Maybe, this is obvious...i've no idea how well-known they are).

Producer Gary Usher maintains that Curt Boettcher was always "light-years ahead of Brian Wilson", for whatever that's worth to.
D. Perino deduced: "The Cuban Missile Crisis?...“It had to do with Cuba and missiles, I’m pretty sure.”
