If you haven't played Crap / Not Crap before, you'll find that it's probably the easiest and most difficult game you've ever played, not to mention quite addicting.

Here is Bradley R. Weissenberger's initial explination:

1. Name an artist/band
2. Respond with your opinion of the band (either "Crap" or "Not Crap").
3. You are not permitted to explain your answer.

This game is far more difficult than it seems. Be binary. Be pithy. Do not explain your answers -- because you can't. Here are two examples:

Police, The: CRAP
Ramones, The: NOT CRAP

But instead of just posting the band name, a colon, and then CRAP or NOT CRAP, I think I've come up with a better way that allows anyone who votes to see the running tally on a particular band or subject.

This method also allows people to discuss, if they choose, why they chose what they chose, and how much trouble they had making the decision (their "Waffling Factor", if you will, see below), and, of course, why they are right, and everyone else is wrong. Note that in order to keep a certain topic towards the top, there has to be a message posted in that topic, a vote alone won't raise it. So, remember to post your opinions!

Waffling Factor: A number from 0 to 10 that states , low to high, your difficulty in making the CRAP/NOT CRAP decision. For ease of recognition, preface your number with :WF: which can be found under the View more Emoticons section of your post. Or simply type:

Code: Select all

There seems to be a general disregard for rule 3.
