Randomly put this music video together. It only took a couple of hours, to film/edit. I thought it came out OK. I've never done a music video before.
Been solo songwriting on and off since around 2009. I spent almost two solid years trying to emulate Nirvana, which was a decision (somewhat) based in practicality. Because I had to write/record every instrument myself, by boiling down all the guitar playing to just power chords (or Major barre), it kinda simplifies the process to be manageable, since I also work a full-time job. It becomes almost 100% about the melody choice versus solving a jigsaw puzzle of chord progressions and counterpoint licks, etc.
Hope you enjoy.
Re: DIY music video (More Nirvana style music... In Utero)
2I self-filmed another music video yestrerday, without thinking too much:

I kinda just "went for it" and filmed and edited this all in a day. Definitely some limitations when you're by yourself and trying to film a music video DIY, but I'm happy with this result. And yes, this song is heavily inspired by Nirvana, particularly the stuff on the "Nevermind Sessions" bootleg CD. I've still got a ways to go to fill out my YouTube Music page with more videos, but I figure the more I keep going the better I'll get at it.
