She's my favorite, too (though Buckingham is real close). In a dinner conversation with Segerandpriest, he revealed that he prefers Nicks to McVie. For the record, he likes to drink Sugar Free Red Bull.

Brett Eugene Ralph wrote:If they had...

Paz Lenchantin=Stevie Nicks (gypsy trappings)
Matt Sweeney=Lindsey Buckingham (guitar solos, coke)
Dave Pajo=John McVie (silent inscrutability)
Jimmy Chamberlain=Mick Fleetwood (plays drums)

But that means Billy Corgan=Christine McVie, and since Christine McVie is my favorite member of Fleetwood Mac, obviously this analogy doesn't hold up.

Wow. That's a really good call. How about some fan fiction here:

Billy Corgan =Guitar Tech
Matt Sweeney=Lindsey Buckingham
David Pajo=John McVie
Tara Jane O'neil=Christine McVie
Paz Lenchantin=Stevie Nicks
Bryan Teasley=Mick Fleetwood (mainly for the "drummer face")

This, my friend, is a fantasy band.

Or maybe he said it's the one that is most revealing of your tastes, depending on how you vote.

I like Peter Green, so I give them a very waffle-y N/C.

i don't think it's difficult. i do think it is very revealing of one's taste.

in conjunction with bauhaus, it tells you almost all you need to know about one's taste in rock music. strangely enough.

i think i can predict how one will vote on almost any rock music c/nc based on these two results

it's kind of like this weekend, when my wife and i were in a little shoe store in milwaukee called 'sweet kicks.' little shoe stores like 'sweet kicks' are niche-marketed exactly to people like my wife and me--people who are old enough to spend a couple hundred dollars on shoes, but young enough to care what they look like. furthermore, our tastes are so predictable and mainstream in their nonmainstreamness, little stores like this can stock a few dozen pairs of shoes and we will like almost every pair.

anyway, we're in there with our kid, and the owners are all in there, and two of them have a kid together.

their daughter's name? isabel. belle for short.

our daughter's name? lila.

their second choice for their daughter's name? lila.

our second choice for our daughter's name? belle.

then there are two couples, friends of ours

first couple, daughter's name: isabel. belle for short. independent of us.

the other couple, first choice for girl's name: lila. independent of us.

we are predictable creatures to a great degree, more so than we like to admit

i love almost every era of fleetwood mac, but...

My daughter's name is Sabine.

Belle was the second choice. Short for Maybelline. Third was Delilah. (I like Chuck Berry to a fault)

My previous post on the artist in question may throw a wrench in the theory. But probably not.

we thought of delilah for her full name, but didn't due to biblical/stripper connotations

that is very funny. perhaps lila and belle are the heather and jennifer of 2020.

My son August is in a piano class with four other children...one of which has the name August as well. I see what you all mean.

Oh, and NC for the Fleetwood for earlier Peter Green stuff and Rumours and Tusk. Though I will admit to not listening to them too much I think they have created much quality over the years.

It's pretty good "jam rock", but I really bought it for the album cover:

I was really disappointed in this record when I bought it. Maybe I'll dig it out and give it another shot.
