Pro Tools M-Powered: Multiple interfaces?

To be honest I know very little about it. I played with it a bit last night to see if it works with multiple interfaces, it seems stable and has lots of features I'll never use.
I'm a misrepresentative user of audio software - I don't like space shuttle cockpit interfaces, I don't like four million bundled effects, and I don't use midi.
All I do occasionally with it is push the record button at 32bit float/96KHz while me and my drummer flail away. By preference I use Audacity, tho it doesn't support ALSA. If I am using windows I use a program called Kristal (uber minimal, excellent rendering engine, and as stable as a program running on windows can get. Has no editing facilities).

However, if you'd like a good look at ardour without fucking around too much, download the Musix 0.39 live CD - it's a very capable environment and won't munt your hard drive.

I work with Pro Tools on a PC and three Delta 1010 rack interfaces (8 in, 8 out + 2 dig in / out each). I've recorded and mixed (OTB) using pretty much every in / out, haven't had many problems. Right now we have a mix going, using all outputs plus a bunch of plug-ins, it's been doing fine for most of the time, though on a couple of particularly plug-in heavy songs it started stuttering, we had to ease up on the CPU. 48k / 24b on this particular job.

Just in case anyone else is wondering about this:

I borrowed myself another 1010, and lo and behold- 16 track recording in the Pro Tools M-Powered demo. It doesn't appear immediately, you have to go into the I/O set up and assign all the ins and outs with names before you can actually assign them to tracks, but once you've done that and saved it as your default it seems to run as you'd expect. I haven't tried it in a proper session yet so I don't know wether Digidesigns 'concerns' over 'stability' are actually anything to worry about or just them trying to get people to spend more money, but I guess I'll have to wait 'til I've spent the money to find that out...
