Spouse looking at being back in the hospital for a long time - want a small guitar we can keep in “hospital stuff”, wipe down without finish worry, as clean a guitar can be while still being playable and “real”.
I had one of these. The little kickstand is pretty cool. Sounds fine, but the real kicker was, yea, you could take it anywhere. 24 big fuck off frets!

haha I was in a punk band with a guy who insisted on using one live, it sounded bad and he looked like a goon but he brought it everywhere and got much, much better than us.

I definitely leaned into the shred nerd stuff and learned a bunch of chiptunes to noodle on. Contra soundtrack needs 2 octaves.

It was fun to have a guitar that really pulled me out of the normal things I wanted to do, I don't really have a lot of opportunities for that sort of nonsense, nor would I indulge in it left to my own devices. Was never good enough that I'd try it in front of people, but it was a nice perk into how the Pros approach guitar.

Salud! Enjoy!

This one arrived with a 3-prong plug with the ground plugged ripped out - bad sign. Turned it on, gave it a bit to warm up and of course its got a 60-cycle ground hum going. Not as loud as your voice when you’re talking into it but totally unacceptable - I’d like to understand how it was missed at the Music Go Round it came from, but not my problem, really. Tried different cables and such, no luck.

Anyways, between the broken AT4060 and the misdelivered Sony C38B, I’m taking this as a sign. No more mics for a while!

I will be very happy when I have a pair of either, though.

Will now take advantage of the working AT4060 I already own that I pulled out to compare the new one to.
