I'm just gonna say this before putting you on ignore, with the hopes that you just shout into the void on this forum. You are an absolute dipshit.

Enjoy.
it doesn't matter to me what you OR trump decide to do. i'm just saying you're wrong on that one point (if war somehow ends up happening).
Dude, he’s not wrong. Insisting that we would win this war is like insisting that you could successfully beat up your co-worker’s wife. “Winning” means you’ve fucked yourself so badly that you will never, ever recover. You didn’t win shit.
i'd say it's more like you rescued the other guy's wife.

Could the US take Greenland by force? Of course, we could try. Let's say we do take it. Now what do we do with it? This what is called a Pyrrhic victory. You won the battle, yay! Long term, you lose, because you're in a worse position than when you started. Again, not having allies in a hostile world that Trump created isn't a long-term strategy for security. People take this for granted, because they've lived a life of privilege in the safety of their small town, buying shit from Amazon and watching Netflix. Wait until those things are gone, you will realize how much was taken for granted. We have had relative peace because of our alliances, not in spite of them. MAGA is going to learn a hard truth one way or another, and we're all going to suffer from it. White nationalism and techno feudalism is what is in our future, and neither of those things benefits the many, only the few. Those are not long-term strategies for a mutually beneficial future for 340m people. Eventually we'd have civil war, on top of a foreign war. We don't have enough military to quash a civilian uprising. Imagine having to fight a war abroad and at home at the same time and thinking something like Greenland was worth it all.

This was already happening - tariffs, breaking treaties and agreements etc.

cakes wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 1:20 pm Everyone will be moving towards China

Also already happening. BRICS seems to be the future, or at least, they're building towards it.

cakes wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 1:20 pm we will become another failed empire in the dustheap of history.
And again, already happening. All this stupid shit going on under the tangerine turd would mostly happen long term anyway, it just might have taken longer and been less stupidly blatant. The US experiment has failed, what you're seeing is the flailing of the dying empire/capitalism.

I just wanna take a moment here to acknowledge your awesome f'kin commentary throughout this thread. I'm noticing your humour and accuracy, and the deadpan is evident even just via text.

Not blowing smoke, but you could seriously contemplate a career in comedy.
