This. I've gotten better at trying to circle back to the original thread. My advice, use AI for everything. Just kidding!

Having worked in software for so long, I found myself with a brain fog at the end of the day, carrying a mental load of systems in my head for the better part of the day. I've tried changing my work habits and the way that I work in order to reduce the cognitive load. I don't know what you do all day, but are there any habits you can change to help with that? I also have been thinking of learning to meditate. I've tried in the past, but my brain is always on overdrive and I have a hard time remaining still mentally. My brain is just filled with noise and I'm afraid it's going to lead me to have memory issues when I get older, just like my father, who I think also can't get his brain to shut up (though, maybe his problems stem from having grenades and bombs explode around him more than a few times in war).
