The Jazzmaster bridge problem can be solved by replacing it with a Mustang replacement.
The strings will not slip out of the grooves as easily, it does not rattle (as much) and screws will not fall out as there are none. The only problem is you cannot adjust the height of each individual saddle.
You can use the inserts on the first 2 channels as direct outs,
the other 2 can be sent out via the stereo outputs by panning channel 3 hard left and channel 4 hard right.
Check out the Yamaha mg10/2 mixer.
4 mic preamps, direct outs on the first 2.
The preamps are said to be much better than Behringer and some say even better than Mackie.
It's only 99$ too.
There's the EHX Frequency Analyzer which seems to be quite good, I think it sells at about 90$ on ebay.
If you want to spend a little more there's teh Moog MF-102 which has an LFO for crazy ass sounds. It's quite expensive though ($250?)
